ICCF — Hurricane Matthew

As of late last night, Hurricane Matthew still remained a Category 4 hurricane with powerful, maximum sustained winds at 130 mph as it strayed off the coast of Cuba after hitting Haiti. With Hurricane Matthew heading towards Central Florida, it is important to take necessary precautions for yourself, your family and to also secure your property.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott urged Florida residents this morning not to wait to prepare for Hurricane Matthew. “If Matthew directly impacts Florida, there will be massive destruction we haven’t seen in years,” said Scott.

To help prepare yourself, ICCF encourages you to have copies of any property coverage documents on hand before Hurricane Matthew makes landfall. Should you need to file an insurance claim, the most effective way is to contact the telephone number for claims that is notated in your policy. If you need copies of any insurance documents, please do not hesitate to contact ICCF as soon as possible.
